When the Army unveiled its Security Force Assistance Brigade plan in 2017, leaders laid out a program that would include five active duty brigades and one manned by the Army National Guard. I’m a 68w in an MP unit and I’m thinking of leaving the reserve and going SFAB for my states National Guard. The kicker is I actually do love my reserve unit but driving 3 hours out of state, into a different time zone kinda sucks. Is SFAB worth it in the Guard or should I stay with my current unit in the reserve?
